………..the invitations are starting to roll in.

Ramsey Mereside are holding their 10th Anniversary Strawberry Fayre on 4th July 2010 at the usual site (if you don’t know the exact location, ask, but it’s S.E. of Peterborough quite near to Whittlesey). GOKF have attended for several years now, along with Bryan Cantle, to give kite displays as it has proved a very "flyable" and open place…Fens and all that!

Ashdon Festival is being held on 6th June 2010. That’s the one  where last year, on the way. I was nearly swept off the road by rain (it did clear and reports were that it was a pleasant afternoon)! Again, it’s one that GOKF support regularly…..put it in your diary!  It’s over near Safron Walden.

Shefford Gala, a new one to GOKF, also to be held on 6th June……..problem is I had already said "yes" to this one before finding out about Ashdon! We need to put on some displays and will have some free flying time too….maybe a children’s kite making workshop? Site is on the large playing fields of a secondary school and Shefford is near the A1 sort of S.W. of Biggleswade. I will be seeking "volunteers" to attend this event.
